CrystalDreams Worldwide BV holds the exclusive rights on different brands of rice for Europe, Africa and the USA.

Basmati Rice

Basmatie rice is just 2% of the total rice production in the world. It is a GI product and grown only in India (80%) and Pakistan (20%). It may be a simple product, without the need of hi-tech processing (no fad or processed food), but it is a product of the highest quality and a high valued product. Basmati rice is not a commodity.

Grades of rice

Rice is graded as following for export.

Grade 1

1121 STEAM BASMATI RICE; (LENGTH OF RICE: 8.33mm)

1121 SELLA Parboiled BASMATI RICE; (LENGTH OF RICE: 8.33mm)

Grade 2

PUSA STEAM BASMATIE RICE; MINIMUM LENGTH OF RICE: 7.50mm

PUSA SELLA BASMATI RICE; MINIMUM LENGTH OF RICE: 7.50 mm

Grade 3

5% IR 64 RAW RICE; LENGTH OF RICE: 6mm

5% IR 64 RAW RICE; LENGTH OF RICE: 6mm
